Laura Bergsøe is a Master Cabinetmaker working from her own workshop producing elegant one-offs from carefully selected pieces of wood. Laura Bergsøe is an apprentice from Cabinetmakers Rud. Rasmussen, a challenging education from the most prestigious workshop in Denmark.

« Each table I create holds The Signature Spike, a pure silver spike that is placed into the side of the piece, and can be removed to reveal its history. The spike bears my name, the date the piece was created, which materials I have used, and for whom the table is made. The Signature Spike signifies that each table’s origin is unique, and can be passed down for generations. Through my choice of materials, I add  stories to my works. Choice of materials ranges from diamonds to mammoth, bog oak to metorite, Silver to marble. »
