We are very pleased to share with you the latest news regarding Mathias Bengtsson, including new museum acquisitions, exhibitions, book editions and recent works.

The Slice Chair Brass and the Spun Chaise Longue have been purchased by Designmuseum Danmark for their permanent collection and will be part of ORGANISKE TRANSFORMETIONER exhibition along with some of Mathias Bengtsson’s selected works and sketches on 10 February to 27 May 2018.

The Spun Chaise Longue is exhibited at the Art Institute Chicago in the new installation of their 20th and 21st century Architecture and Design works, presenting the two as integrated, ever-changing, and multilayered experience.

Mathias Bengtsson’s Growth Chair and Slice Chair have been included in the revised and updated edition of the iconic Book 1000 Chairs by Charlotte & Peter Fiell.
