Dear Friends,

On September 10, 2010, I opened the Galerie Maria Wettergren in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Près district in Paris. 10 years later, to the day, we will celebrate our anniversary by opening a new and larger space, this time in the heart of the Marais, at 121 rue Vieille-du-Temple!

The inauguration will take place on Thursday, September 10th from 6 pm to 9 pm with a cocktail reception in the presence of Mr. Michael Starbæk Christensen, Ambassador of Denmark to France.

The inaugural exhibition, Nouvelle Vague, will present a selection of Scandinavian milestone works that have contributed to redefining the international art & design scene over the past twenty years with interdisciplinary works that combine high technology and craftsmanship in the fields of textile art, sculpture, furniture and lighting. The exhibition will centre around organic and geometric forms, and draw attention to pioneering women artists, especially in the field of textile art.
